I have been publishing children's magazines for children learning foreign languages since the early 2000s. In 2022 I relocated from Russia and saw first-hand how children adapt to a new linguistic and cultural environment, and the role that art plays in that process. I consider our experience at that stage a real success, and it led me to launch the Babiling Animation Kit magazine, in which I brought together my own experience and that of fellow artists who had been through relocation and helped children along the way.

I am an English language teacher who worked with preschool children in Vietnam. My teaching approach combined language learning with creativity, play, and active interaction. For each lesson, I designed original educational games, learning cards, presentations, and short videos to create an engaging and enjoyable learning experience.

I believe that creativity, play, and storytelling help children feel confident while discovering a new language and culture. This is why I strongly identify with the Liberi Ludi approach, where art becomes a tool for learning, adaptation, and communication. I would be delighted to contribute my teaching experience to programmes supporting the adaptation and social inclusion of migrant children.

For the past seven years, I have worked at the intersection of education, language adaptation, and creative practice. My focus is on helping children with migrant backgrounds feel safe expressing themselves through stories, drawing, animation, and collaborative projects.

I believe that storytelling can become a shared language between children from different cultures and help them build confidence, empathy, and a sense of belonging. In my work, I combine elements of literature, visual arts, and non-formal education to create spaces where children can participate creatively regardless of their language level or social background.

I am a community arts educator from Germany currently living in Vienna, where I work with cultural organisations and non-formal education programmes focused on youth participation and creative learning.

My professional practice is centred around animation, visual storytelling, and collaborative media production as tools for communication and social inclusion. During the past several years, I have facilitated workshops for multilingual groups of children and teenagers, helping participants create short animated films, collective narratives, and visual projects connected to identity, memory, and belonging.

I am especially interested in how artistic collaboration can support adaptation processes for children growing up in multicultural environments. In my workshops, the creative process is often more important than the final result: children learn to communicate ideas, work collectively, and express themselves visually even when they do not yet share a common language fluently.

Current Professional Activity
Leading collaborative animation workshops for children and teenagers in intercultural education programmes.
